Who we are
Clearform ("we", "us") is a web design and automation studio operating the website clearformdigital.com.
Our services
We design and build websites and set up automation tools for our clients. The exact scope, deliverables, timeline, and price for any project are agreed in writing before work begins, in a proposal or statement of work. Those project-specific terms sit alongside these general terms.
Quotes and pricing
Any prices shown on our website are starting points, not fixed quotes. Every project is quoted individually after we understand what you need. A quote is only binding once set out in a written proposal and accepted by you.
Payment
Payment terms for each project are set out in the relevant proposal. Unless agreed otherwise, we may ask for a deposit before starting and the balance on completion. Ongoing support plans are billed on the cycle stated when you sign up.
Your responsibilities
- Provide the content, access, and information we need to do the work, in good time.
- Ensure that any material you give us (text, images, logos) is yours to use or properly licensed.
- Review and respond to work at the agreed stages so the project can keep moving.
Intellectual property
Once a project is fully paid for, ownership of the final website and its bespoke content passes to you, except for any third-party components, fonts, or libraries, which remain under their own licences. We may show completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
Revisions and scope
Each proposal states what is included. Work that goes beyond the agreed scope may be quoted and charged separately. We will always confirm any extra cost with you before carrying out the additional work.
Availability and disclaimer
We work hard to build reliable, secure sites, but we provide our website and services on an "as is" basis and cannot guarantee they will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business.
Termination
Either side may end a project as set out in the relevant proposal. If a project ends early, you pay for the work completed up to that point.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, and any disputes are subject to the courts of Germany.
